I'm not exactly sure what happened to 2009...it went by so fast! 2010 has to be a better year. Sure, getting married was a high point of 2009, but at the same time I also went through some pretty low points as well. I experienced things I never thought I would ever have to deal with and was left with a lot of questions. I had my strength tested. But I found out who my friends were and that no hurdle was too great for them to jump. I found out that, once again, I had people around me who were going to make sure I landed on my feet. I'm ready for a fresh start!
My biggest goal in 2010 is finding a new job. One that has decent hours. I'd love to find a job that I could walk away from at the end of the day...not one that I have to bring home with me as well. A job that makes me happy and that I look forward to going to each day. A job that doesn't take away from my family. I'm not asking for too much, am I?
Otherwise, I want to spend more quality time with my family...enjoy my new husband and have more patience for my daughter. I want to spend more time creating in my scrapbook room and step outside of my comfort zone and try new things. There are more things on my list, but I'm not going to bore you with them.
For now, it's time to enjoy my first Christmas with my new family. Have fun being a grandma. (YIKES!) Style School starts January 10th and I can't wait. I have a few more supplies to collect for the first few weeks. And then there's always the job hunt...

Rollercoaster Ride
Between Rylee being sick and my sinus infection, things just haven't been going the best. I finally think things are getting better when I get the call...the store is officially closed, don't go to work tomorrow. Don't worry about making arrangements to be at the family Christmas. Wow. I knew it was coming, but we had been told January 3rd. Better tweek the good 'ole resume now...

My Weekend Has Arrived!
Because of the new hours at work, my weekend is Monday and Tuesday. Not to convenient for me and the family since they aren't home on my days off, but there's nothing I can do about it. I need to make one more trip to Topeka to finish a Christmas gift and to purchase a frame I need for a project. Don't know which day that will happen, but I'd sure be glad to have things finished! Otherwise, Rylee has her program tomorrow night and I have picture frames to finish painting for the living room. And there's always knitting dishcloths to finish gifts. Looks like my weekend is pretty planned out for me...

Second Chances
Okay, so I failed miserably at my first blogging attempt. Life got in the way and well, blogging wasn't too important. So here goes attempt number two. Somewhere along the way I got engaged, lost my job and got married in the same week, and have experienced all sorts of ups and downs along the way. And the ride is going to get fun again...maybe this will be good therapy!
Wish me luck...
Wish me luck...

Patience, Please!
I've been told that I need a blog by numerous people. It's taken quite some time, but I have finally decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. Be patient with me while I figure things out!
